Just starting out with investing and trying to make sense of all the conflicting advice on asset allocation. On one hand, ETFs and index funds seem like a safe bet because they offer broad diversification and lower risk. On the other hand, some argue that individual stocks, if chosen wisely, can potentially provide much higher returns. I understand both options have their trade-offs, but I'm struggling to figure out which strategy makes the most sense for someone starting out who also wants room for growth. Honestly, I already made some rookie mistakes too, like selling during a recent dip, which led to unexpected capital gains taxes
Your videos have been truly impressive! As one of your regular viewers, I've been following your content closely for a while now. I'm very interested in making an investment, but I’m still having trouble identifying the right opportunity to fully commit to. I would greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions you might have in this area.
I am 17 starting my investment journey from now onwards with 6000 ruppes although I had earned 1.3 lakh back in 2021 but instead of investing I gave it to my parents as a gratitude of my first big Earning of my self currently in 12th class been earning I was in 4 th class all thank to Scam 1992 web series which inspired me to do something good in life .
I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or when ever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income
