Investment portfolio on a 4% growth is quite inferior to real estate growth in prime location simply by capital growth and inflation that easily will be multiples of 4%. Also putting $100,000 in a 20 yrs well diversified portfolio brining in $180-210000 sounds like not a great portfolio for retiremen as the average working class person does not have that many multiples of 100k to invest. Respect your intention but not really convincing this is the right way to work towards retirement.
Is there any benefits in splitting a portfolio so that you have VAS,VGS,A200, IVV and cash portions? Or are you just doubling up on the same type of investment?
Investing in a Roth IRA is a great option because it's funded with after-tax dollars, allowing your contributions to grow tax-free over time. When you retire and start taking money out, you won’t owe taxes on your withdrawals, helping you hold onto more of your savings. I personally retired with $5 million.
Forgive my ignorance I am only just getting into the investment game and when you refer to cash is that like a actual stock I had a Quick Look and there is the cash on NASDAQ? Is this what you are referring to?
Hey mate came across you recently and have started to watch alot of your videos keep up the great content. Just wondering whats your thoughts on IVV in comparison to VGS would love to know your thoughts about it
Every week I buy more of whatever is the lowest percentage of my portfolio and try to keep everything around 10%. Please what could be my safest buys with $400k to outperform the market in 2024?
I'm new to this. I've bought a small amount of VTI and VXUS, is it worth selling up to buy VAS and VGS instead or should I hang on to them for a while?

You could always just invest in DHHF an all in 1 ETF , thoughts on this guys ?
Just for myself:
A200 0.04% + VGS(international exc aus) 0.18%/IVV(t500 us only) 0.04%
Why VAS ? I go for s&p 500 index over asx 300 every day of the week
Dude, only just started investing. Big shoutout to you for breaking down everything into very manageable chunks. Following for more!
Cash is trash.

OncoSil could be interesting.
Thanks Raymond. Very good tutorial for someone who has no idea how to get started, I do now.
Is there an etf with asia, europe and us for Australians
Thank you. Andrew from mel
I'm curious, if the ASX only makes up 3% of the market why would you put more than 3% of your saving into the ASX (let alone the top 300 companies)?
I’m 38 I’m 30 percent index div and 35 Aussie and 35 percent international
Just got to follow the market trend
Hi Raymond. What do you think of VHY? I can't decide whether to choose VHY or VAS.

Your portfolio will struggle to keep up with money devaluation and inflation unfortunately
